    Hello and welcome to the Imperium webpage, in this first entry we're going to be looking at the discrepancy of clans. Which clans are the top of the chain, and which are simply not. First category we're going to look at, is magnitude. The largest clan in the Community is... Valhalla. (Obviously). Okay, so no surprises there. I'm sure we all know that Valhalla is the biggest clan/nation in the CW. But do you know, just how big Valhalla is? About 80+ members in scale. Okay.. but those are just a bunch of meaningless numbers, especially if you're not familair with the gist of member-expanse. But here's a few things about Valhalla that may help give you some perspective. Valhalla hosts 7 clans within its domain: Clandistine, Varia, Atheron, The Avengers, Justice League, Moon Clan and last but not least the Mibu Clan.

    Valhalla really is in a league of its own compared to other clans, with 2nd place Akatsuki only 40% the magnitude of Valhalla. Valhalla is more comparable in size with the Global Alliances of 2012, i.e. Trinity which encompassed a coalition of ♒ Fourth Order, SCAR and DayBreak. Valhalla is bigger than the Akatsuki, The Magistrate, and the Imperium clumped together! Only slightly smaller than the entire populace of the CW. Ok, I'm sure you get it now. Valhalla is big. And as mentioned, the Akatsuki is 2nd place. In 3rd place is... well, it's disputed. It's either The Magistrate or The Imperium. Which clan is in 3rd place is dependent on 2 factors: The Magistrate's disputed protectorate of Elexorien, and the outermost residents of the Imperium.

    Looking at the opposite end of the spectrum. The 3 smallest clans in the CW are: The Avengers, The Justice League, and of course: The 'Kingdom'. Valhalla is about 40x the magnitude of The Justice League.

    The oldest clans in the CW are significantly more difficult, if not impossible, owing to the fact that there are different definitions of the word 'clan'. While clans like The Akatsuki and Ninth Column may be good candidates to call the oldest clans, having been around for more than 4-5 years! Although they bear little or no resemblance to their modern-day counterparts. If we use just the date at which the clan in its current form was founded, then the oldest clans are: SCAR, DayBreak, and Ninth Column. Although, even that's debatable, as it's such a complex issue it could easily be another muniment in itself.
